Global Game Jam 2022's success and the innovative mechanic I created incentivized us to continue and polish one of our passion projects. As more of an experimental project than The Song of Maka, I led and created a unique UI system. We wanted to utilize a 3D environment, straight from the game itself, to ensure a smooth transition between the menus and the level choices. Although many variables are still in prototype, as we are still working on this project, I have provided a brief comparison in the photos below highlighting the evolution of this product’s development cycle.
